Proprioception is the perception of joint position. Cells in our ligaments give the brain this information.
After neck injury the ligaments get stretched & some of this sense can be lost.

Running efficiency can incr. by training foot & ankle stiffness. Strengthening with isometric holds & incorporating pulses is a great way to train both fatigue resistance & tendon stiffness. Stiffer tendons help us propel forward by storing & then releasing energy (like a spring!
