Please remember - there is an amended northbound train timetable at Saunderton on weekdays this week (2-6 Feb). This is due to the impact of major engineering work at Oxford.
The car park at Saunderton railway station will be closed for maintenance work this coming Sunday, 20th July 2025.
Please do not use the station car park overnight Saturday into Sunday, or on Sunday.
The station will still be open for pedestrian access.
@chilternrailway
0745 to Marylebone only three carriages today. Will be cosy from High Wycombe. Root cause likely to be an incident near High Wycombe that meant the lines were closed until well after midnight.
Late on Sunday 4 May. The road under the railway bridge at the bottom of Saunderton station car park will be closed. Sunday 2100 through to 0400 Monday. 9km diversion for vehicles. Pedestrians should be OK. https://t.co/8oKT3CCfqY @chilternrailway

A special Inter-City 125 train passing through Saunderton just now on its way to Marylebone to help @chilternrailway celebrate the 125th birthday of the London terminus. Should be back at 1223, 1401 & 1619.
A period of industrial action starts for @chilternrailway on Monday. Amended morning timetables from Saunderton Mon 29 Jan - Fri 2 Feb & Tue 6 Feb. No trains 4 & 5 Feb. Weekday mornings 0644 replaced by 0707 non-stop to London (👍). Check times carefully every day.

Monday 15 January. The lines north of Haddenham are closed for two days (Sun & Mon) and Chiltern Railways have issued a ‘Do Not Travel’ warning. If you choose to travel, a heavily amended timetable will run and trains will likely be very busy.
Train service update for Saunderton. There has been a landslip affecting an embankment near Bicester, closing one line and severely restricting the other. The vast majority of trains due to call at Saunderton have been cancelled today, Friday 12 Jan 2024.
There are changes to train times later today from Saunderton, heading towards High Wycombe and Marylebone. Unfortunately some of the planned trains are too long for the platform, so additional stops have been put on other trains. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!
Travel early on Christmas Eve and note that trains finish much earlier than usual. The ‘special’ train showing below at around midnight might not be visible and certainly won’t have room for passengers. Happy Christmas. ⛪️🎄🎅
