According to Vikrant Gupta & other credible sources, Sanju Samson is rested.

I mean wtf? A player who won you WC single handedly is rested after 3 failures specially when he is dropped from XI against England also?

This is just politics against Samson to just sidelined him completely. Resting Abhishek Sharma here would have made sense as Abhishek has runs under his belt & he is also playing all games against England. This is just fooling people with no shame on face!!

This guy was got ditched by Ajit Agarkar 1st when he scored 3 T20I 100s in space of 5 games & brought Shubman Gill as vice captain, which failed & they were forced to bring back Sanju Samson as opener.

Then, Sanju Samson again came to team & single handedly won India T20I WC with 97*, 89, 89 in 3 consecutive knockouts which no player in history has ever done & Ajit Agarkar has dropped him once again.

Is there any shamelessness left in him? How can he face himself in mirror. This is politics of highest order.

Ajit Agarkar also dropped Sanju Samson from ODI Squad when Sanju had score a 100 in South Africa in his last appearance & having ODI avg of 56. I hope god is there & looking at everything! I am hurt, every Indian fan should be hurt today!

Doesn't matter, if you are a Sanju Samson fan or not but you have to call out Ajit Agarkar's ungratefulness & hatred towards Sanju Samson which he has put on show once more.

Ajit Agarkar was 200% set to not get re-elected as chairman of selectors, if India had not win the world cup. India was on verge of elimination in group stage in their own home tournament & from there Sanju Samson played 3 games, all being knockout games & scored 97*, 89, 89 consecutively to single handedly win the world cup for India with POTT performance.

Ajit Agarkar then requested BCCI to give him another cycle as head coach & now after just 3 bad games, Ajit Agarkar has dropped Sanju Samson completely.

They could have easily accommodated both players by moving Sanju Samson to No. 3 and giving Vaibhav Suryavanshi his debut. Instead, they chose to drop Sanju altogether. He won a T20 World Cup single-handedly for the country and still got dropped from the playing XI. They should have dropped Tilak Varma and played Sanju at 3, Shreyas at 4, and Kishan at 5. Karma will strike the BCCI in a big tournament.
