Shiv Rawail is an impressive director
I liked how he brought his own perspective & tried to make #Alpha feel different from the other films in Spyverse
I just don't want to see him waste his potential directing YRF's spy slop
Hope a big South production house gives him a chance
#Alpha starts on a highly disappointing note, locking in a weak opening day of approx ₹8.50 Cr nett in India. #AliaBhatt#Sharvari
For a high-budget Spy Universe tentpole with an A-list cast and a massive 2,700-screen release, anything below ₹15 Cr nett is a major underperformance.
Worryingly, even these initial numbers seem artificially inflated. The crucial Saturday and Sunday trends will now decide if the film can salvage any pride over its opening weekend.
Every Aditya Dhar film essentially feels like the same movie, with only the actors, songs, locations, and situations changing. The formula usually goes like this:
The protagonist is either in the Army or aspires to serve in the Army.
India–Pakistan tensions form the backdrop.
Narendra Modi is portrayed as the best Prime Minister ever.
The previous government is depicted as having done nothing for India.
This is the “new India” under Narendra Modi, an India that will enter Pakistan and take revenge.
Israel is shown as the second-best country, one we must take inspiration from.
Whether it's, URI, Article 370, Dhurandhar or Baramullah the packaging changes, but the core themes remain the same.
Some Positive Things In ALPHA ✅
The BGM 💥
Hrithik Roshan's Cameo 💥
Alia Bhatt's Entry Sequence 💥

You can Still Watch ALPHA for These elements ✅
It's Not Completely Bad Film .... It's Still Watchable ✅
alia bhatt is not a punching bag for y’all to give your unemployment frustrations at. Now people call alpha a disaster while the movie graphs says it opened for 16 CR worldwide. The problems is they judge before the watch, the comparison is already there #aliabhatt
I’ve watched Alpha twice now, and after my second watch, I realized the movie isn’t as bad as people are making it out to be.
⚠️ Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t watched it yet and want to avoid spoilers, don’t read further. #Alpha
#ALPHA : 3.5/5 🎬
• Decent 1st Half & Good 2nd Half 🤞🏽
• Good Performance from Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol & Anil Kapoor 👍🏽
• The Action Scenes are Superb with Decent Screenplay, Good Making & Music 💯
• KABIR Cameo 🔥😉
Overall : A Good Action Entertainer Film 🎥
#TriggerWarning to Dhurandharpaglus: I haven't watched Alpha but Hamza literally writes the name of everyone he kills in a notebook with... 'invisible ink' that is so visible that his non spy wife takes 30 seconds to read.. and the book isn't even hidden. It's always just around the corner in his house.
Basically, dono movies hain. Fiction hain. Alag alag genres hain isliye alag alag logic hai. Maybe Dhurandhar is a more proficient movie, sure.. but it has enough creative license taken too.
