🧵 @Arestovych and @FeyginMark4 daily broadcast summaries thread.
I am neither writer, nor translator, I just started writing down key topics for few of my European friends.
This is in no way complete translation. I might miss or omit some things, depending on mood and tiredness

If Russia escapes this war without fair and just consequences, it will embolden them to repeat their actions elsewhere. The weak response to Crimea’s occupation in 2014 paved the way for Donbas and today’s full-scale war. The pattern is clear.
While Putin was busy issuing threats to the world and boasting about his resolve yesterday, the dollar exchange rate surged to a historic high, reaching 103 rubles per dollar.
At the beginning of the war, I did hear saying:
Americans will do the right thing, after trying everything else.
It would have been funny, if not so sad.
It's been close to three years....three years... three years.
Why, why, why, why is this happening as late as now....how many lives could have been saved, how many opportunities could have been very timely used, in a unique historic situation that we had after March 29, 2022, with the Russian defeat at Kyiv.
Why, why, why waste three years giving Putin time only to eventually utter decisions that have been obvious and critically necessary all this time.
Why, why, why.
"When the last Ukrainian soldier falls, Putin will come for you."
- First, russia came for the Chechens. But we didn't even know where that is.
- Then russia came for the Georgians. But we pretended not to see it.
- Then russia came for the Crimeans and Donbas. But we pretended it was their own fault.
- Then russia came for all Ukrainians. And we still pretend russia will stop there.
Putin's invasions of Chechnya (1999), Georgia (2008), Crimea (2014) and Ukraine (2022) all lead to the same conclusion: Someone else will be next.
Will it be Moldova? The Baltics? Poland?
Russia won't stop unless it is stopped. And the only way to stop russia is by standing with Ukraine. Otherwise, russia will come for us.

The Idiot’s Guide on How to Deal with Russia.
No on press conferences, speeches, statements of concern and reports on escalation likelihoods.
Yes on shooting down Russian missiles, lifting strike restrictions and providing Ukraine with an overwhelming military capability. 1/

Putin is spending $140bn while we struggle to promise fifty. We are basically sending him the message "We won't stop you", so he won't stop.
But if we allocated $800bn, he would be forced to rethink. Yes, we could afford it. And yes, it would be cheaper than letting him carry on.
