I’m less than 10 yrs removed from the game and it’s changed so much since then. I didn’t care if it was a scrimmage vs my own team; we were going to COMPETE

Sports are starting to lose the competitive spirit. Bowl games are being called “meaningless” to justify people opting out, but if a game is on the schedule that shit means something.
