[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

#jgatschat A9: Tom and Daisy are characterized as people who hide away in their money, both cheaters, liars, and very selfish

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

@amycoleman00 #jgatschat In the end, Nick officially breaks it off with Jordan so there arent any misconceptions between the two

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

#jgatschat A7: Tom and Daisy are probably pretending nothing is happenening, that seems to be how they handle things in their marriage

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

#jgatschat A7: The characters seem lost in their lack of regard for others or morals, none care that Myrtle died, just if there would betrbl

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

#jgatschat A4:The weather, such as the heat on the day Myrtle dies, symbolizes the situation heating up and getting more intense

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

#jgatschat A2: Nick is one of the few characters who seems to see the reality of things, such as his opinion of Tom or feeling towards Daisy

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

TCG is a satire, as it is details the exchanges and love between paragons of greed, wealthy Americans blinded by money and desire #jgatschat

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

@DarnesonLNC #jgatschat Most of what makes Nick dishonest in my opinion is the lies he tells himself (that he makes no judgements, etc)

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

@_TheNickRossini #jgatschat yes, she makes him feel a way that he likes, his want for her is on certain levels selfish

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

#jgatschat A1: I would say Gatsby is as bad as anyone else, he loves Daisy because he would get something out of her reciprocation (love)

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

A3:Nick isn't honest, but he curves Jordan instead of lead her on like Daisy did Gatsby, so hes honest in comparison with others #jgatschat

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

[Savannah Schroeder @savannahschroe]

A5: I would title this novel "A Hopless Wealth" because while Gatsby is wealthy, it doesnt get the thing he wants, Daisy's love #jgatschat
