Portland-based lit publication I wrote for while living in Seattle. Recently realized the page before my piece was an article by director Todd Haynes (Safe, Velvet Goldmine) titled "Damn the Heterosexual Paradigm: Why Gay Marriage Freaks Out the Patriarchy."
Writing for Swindle was an early highlight. Co-founded by Shepard Fairey, Swindle was one of the dopest coffee-table mags out there. Editor/co-founder Roger Gastman was a big influence on graffiti and street art in the mainstream and it was awesome to be part of their endeavor.
