London School of Economics estimates average house prices will fall by 12% of living near new pylons. For those living in the Amber Valley this is likely to be more like 30% or more given that there is currently nothing to obstruct the landscape.#stopthepylons

Government should take an evidence-based approach to policy-making.  A Secretary of State should set high standards of behaviour, not least in adherence with the Nolan Principles which require objectivity and leadership.

Well that’s it…my objection submitted for the Chesterfield to Willington pylon upgrade. Pylons through the heart of this uninterrupted countryside over existing areas of similar infrastructure. I can’t quite believe all what I have read. Here’s hoping someone is going to say no
