"Calling Armenian territory 'Western Azerbaijan' changes no fact, and gives Azerbaijan no right to take it."
Dr. Paul Murray (@drpmurray) lays out the historical and diplomatic record. Azerbaijan has affirmed Armenia's territorial integrity on paper, yet the distortion continues.
President Aliyev must honor the borders he has recognized.

A commemorative march was held in Yerevan on September 27 to mark six years since the start of the 2020 Artsakh War and honor the memory of those who were killed.
The march began at 6:30 p.m. near the Garegin Nzhdeh monument and continued through the capital before concluding at Yerablur Military Pantheon.
Participants carried Armenian flags and commemorated the 44 days of war, paying tribute to the servicemen who fought and those who never returned home.
At Yerablur, participants were welcomed by Father Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, the former abbot of Dadivank, who now serves at Yerablur Military Pantheon and joined them in prayer for the fallen.
The march was organized by the “44 Steps Up” initiative, "Kharuyk" NGO and the Karin Traditional Song and Dance Ensemble, bringing those gathered together to honor the fallen and preserve their memory.

Following her visit, Kamman wrote about the important work of the @tufenkianfound’s Family and Community NGO.
She specifically covers the work the NGO is doing to aid children displaced from Artsakh.

This Independence Day, we honor Armenia’s endurance, resilience, and centuries-long struggle for freedom.
Yet remembrance also requires truth.
Independence was bought with sacrifice, and its preservation remains a constant challenge. For the second year in a row, Armenia marks its independence without Artsakh by its side. Artsakh remains fully occupied, its Armenian population forcibly displaced, and Armenia’s security deeply shaken.
This day must remind us not only of the victories that secured our freedom, but also of the losses endured and the responsibility that remains before us.
Less than forty years ago, Armenia and Artsakh rose together, defying the odds and securing freedom through immense sacrifice. Today, Artsakh’s absence leaves a profound wound, while Armenia faces renewed questions about security, sovereignty, memory, and national purpose.
But the struggle for justice, dignity, and the rights of our people continues. Independence is not only something inherited from the past. It is something that must be protected, strengthened, and carried forward by every generation.
May Armenia become truly free, sovereign, and worthy of the sacrifices that made our independent state possible.
At Gandzasar, an Azerbaijani official used a museum reproduction to claim Armenians fabricated their history.
The claim was false. Members of the diplomatic audience laughed anyway.

Azerbaijan may control Artsakh—but that does not make its version of history the only one diplomats should see.
In his latest @ChristianPost op-ed, Save Armenia CEO Dr. Paul Murray (@drpmurray) examines the destruction and erasure of Armenian Christian heritage and the responsibility of diplomats who visit the region.
An Azerbaijan-controlled tour is not independent observation. Diplomatic courtesy must not become complicity.

Donna Schuller, standing on land Armenians were forced to flee in 2023:
"Our faith will last. It lasts through these atrocities. God always wins."
More than 120,000 displaced. A faith that endures still.
