"@NYHealthCommish directed Hudson to contact @HealthNYGov abt problems getting responses from PPL.
"You should be able to call PPL to get answers & info you need, but now if everybody has to go to DOH what does that say about PPL and the transition?"

This is what happened when one consumer called PPL’s transition hotline. The call lasted 95 min. It did not go well.
This is PPL’s hotline. If they can’t handle a phone call, how can they handle the care of 280k New Yorkers?

@HershyMarton another reason why This awful plan to singular FI needs to be stopped hopefully the courts can stop this plan lots of people are on our side of how dangerous this transition is
According to this exhibit filled in court,
@PartnerwithPPL is demanding a higher reimbursement rate from all plans in NYS for CDPAP services than what they are currently paying all FI's.
The single FI initiative was supposed
to reduce State Medicaid costs, not increase them.
"Carlos Martinez, executive director of the Rockland County-based BRIDGES home care agency, said during a meeting on April 9, a state official told him and other current home care contractors that Public Partnerships LLC would take over a statewide fiscal intermediary."
"Carlos Martinez, executive director of the Rockland County-based BRIDGES home care agency, said during a meeting on April 9, a state official told him and other current home care contractors that Public Partnerships LLC would take over a statewide fiscal intermediary."
"...I was shocked in the moment to be told directly by a government official that the State had already made a decision as to which company would be selected as the fiscal intermediary for all of New York," Martinez said in a sworn statement.

@GovKathyHochul CDPAP reforms will not save tax dollars if you think about PPL LLC will cost the state same as it cost now 9 billion than it does now don’t make sense to turn it over to one fi for nys just leave with the fis we have now #SaveCDPAP
Thank you @RitchieTorres! The truth needs to be brought to light. In the “democracy” of @GovKathyHochul hundreds of businesses will be shut overnight for a few votes. #SaveCDPAP

Moving away from 600+ CDPAP companies to 1 company for the entire state (@PartnerwithPPL) will not save NYS a penny. In fact it'll cost them way more.
Why is @GovKathyHochul doing this?
One reason only. To disrupt quality care and force consumers out of the program. #SaveCDPAP
It is so important that we bring a strong showing - we have to show the Governor that New Yorkers are still willing to fight against corporate monopoly takeovers for healthcare.
#SaveCDPAP
Will we see you on November 13 in Albany? This is our chance to show @GovKathyHochul that we have NOT given up and are still fighting to #SaveCDPAP and #ProtectHomeCare.
