The #earthquake may have disrupted my remarks at the UN Security Council, but what I called for is far from earth shattering.

On behalf of all children in Gaza, I demanded action.

The world has the tools to address this crisis. It merely lacks the political will to use them.

Alleviating suffering, saving lives, and protecting children are the very metric by which we should measure our own humanity…

$2B > $0: ✅
Faster, more local, more streamlined: ✅
Enough for children in crises? Not even close.
Global humanitarian appeal: ~$33B — a rounding error compared to global defense spending.
Hoping other funders step up. Children can’t wait.

The @UN and the #UnitedStates on Monday formalized an agreement under which the US committed $2 billion in humanitarian assistance for global relief programmes.

The humanitarian crisis in #Sudan is worsening. Children are starving, hospitals destroyed and families face deadly attacks.

Thank you @SenatorRisch, @RepBrianMast , @RepGregoryMeeks, @ChrisCoons & @CoryBooker for bringing attention to this urgent crisis. Children cannot wait.

Everything can improve with digital and data!

@STC_Ventures + @ViebegM deliver low-cost medical equipment to public-private clinics in Rwanda, offering high-quality healthcare to the clinics which are run by nurse-owners.

All are digitized, with data continuously tracked.

[Janti Soeripto @SaveCEO_US]

I’m wrapping up a fantastic week in Rwanda where I met many children, families and Save the Children staff to learn about @SCIRwanda’s programming.

Here are my reflections from the trip ⬇️

[Janti Soeripto @SaveCEO_US]

Last-mile health care is still a challenge in rural Rwanda.

At Mahama refugee camp, Save the Children runs a health center with c-section services & blood delivered by drones—cutting hospital trips over an hour on bumpy roads.

Every war is a war against children.

18,500 children killed in Gaza—each with a name, a family, a future stolen.

We must see this for what it is and stop it. Ceasefire now. Let aid in.

[The Washington Post @washingtonpost]

18,500 of the 60,000 people killed in Israel’s war in Gaza are children.

Here are their names. 🧵 https://t.co/fsNgf8S06Q
