Deus Ex's augmentations aren't too far off from reality. Including replacing eyes and fingers with cameras and thumb drives, experimental new tech that allow blind and colorblind people to kind of see, and using brainwaves to control prosthetics and other devices.

After some time to think about it I will no longer be running this account. This is something I don’t want to dedicate my time towards and running the account has only caused me stress & felt like a chore. Have a wonderful rest of your lives.

The real goal of the puppets was to let you escape the warehouse so Scout can take over your mind and assimilate into society to help revive their TV show, the events of the game is a ploy to build trust with the puppet attached to your arm. Each playthrough is a new victim.
