The European Union Solidarity Fund (EUSF) was set up in 2002 to respond to major natural disasters in regions.

Since then it has mobilised over €8.6 billion for 130 disasters in 24 Member States (plus 🇬🇧), and 4 accession countries (🇦🇱 🇲🇪 🇷🇸 🇹🇷).
