Committed to oppose the installation of FIVE 127m wind turbines in the rural community of Haversham & Little Linford, Milton Keynes. We are GREEN not GULLIBLE!
Left: Outgoing Prime Minister Keir Starmer says the increase in defence spending is his legacy
Right: His actual legacy is proscribing a protest group which saw an 83 year old retired priest - one of over a thousand people - arrested for holding a sign
➡️ Labour's Baron Hain in the House of Lords called the proscription shameful for conflating protest with terrorism
➡️ Geoffrey Robertson who recruited Starmer and was one of his earliest mentors criticised the way Starmer, Cooper and now Mahmood have abused the law
➡️ And never forget how on 29 April 2026 a man in hospital supported psychiatric accommodation attacked three men, the first was a Muslim, the second two were Jewish. Starmer spent days standing up for the British Jewish community (which he rightly did), but not once did he stand up for the British Muslim community. Starmer's two-tier island of strangers inequality
In opposition I liked Starmer for standing up to 14 years of Conservative chaos, and in his early months fully supported him. But then came the poor policy roll-outs, the u-turns, and then the escalation to full on authoritarianism
Defence is not your legacy @Keir_Starmer - even though we desperately do need to improve our defence capabilities. Your legacy is how you as a former human rights lawyer sunk into authoritarianism. Instead of leadership you created an environment where an 83 year old retired priest would be arrested. And as Baron Hain said, that is indeed shameful
A lot of people would have you believe that handing over parts of the NHS to private providers is our only option
But…
* Only the NHS takes care of patients at A&E
* Only the NHS trains our doctors and nurses
* Only the NHS looks after all patients
I am writing these words to you from inside Gaza City, and I say this with complete honesty: the situation has become extremely dangerous, perhaps worse than ever before.
Temperatures continue to rise, and the tents have turned into real ovens. More than 170,000 tents across Gaza City are sheltering thousands of families in conditions that are impossible to describe. Inside these tents, temperatures exceed 50°C (122°F). There is no electricity, no fans, no air conditioning, and none of the basic necessities needed to survive.
The tents are packed tightly together, with almost no space between them. Many families are forced to leave their tents and sit in the streets because remaining inside has become unbearable.
Water is desperately scarce, and the extreme heat is making thirst even more severe. And this is only the beginning of summer. Every day, I see the effects of the intense heat on children’s bodies heat rashes, exhaustion, and suffering while insects emerging from the ground make life even harder.
The coming days could be even more devastating if these conditions continue. The tents are no longer places of shelter; they have become another source of danger.
Please don’t let these families be forgotten. Speak about them. Write about them. Share their stories with others. Keep their voices alive and let the world know what is happening. Behind every tent is a family struggling to survive.
They need to be seen, they need to be heard, and they need your solidarity.
An Israeli official is pushing to ban the RED CROSS from visiting Palestinian hostages in order to conceal Israeli crimes against Palestinians in prisons.
More than 600,000 children are sheltering in tents right now as they are getting intensely bombed - nowhere else left to go.
This is not war, this is genocide.
Fatima, a beloved teacher in Luxembourg, was fired for speaking out against the kiIIing of children in Gaza.
Her students and their families organized a peaceful demonstration demanding justice and her immediate return to the classroom. ✊
URGENT! For any country where (from Italy to Thailand or Brazil) possible war criminals go on holiday and R&R. 🇮🇱 soldiers must be investigated, evidence assessed, and responsibility determined through DUE PROCESS.
This is not incitement to commit violence. It is accountability.
That particular moment when a British surgeon was giving testimony to the UK Parliament.
He describes how IDF drones arrive right after airstrikes in Gaza, targeting and shooting the injured, including children, right on the spot......
🚨 BREAKING: A horrific massacre unfolded on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza after an Israeli drone strike targeted a tent as a civilian vehicle carrying women and children was passing by.
All passengers were injured by flying shrapnel. One woman lost her arm and an eye in the attack.
🎥 Eman, Abdelhadi and Bashir have returned home to Gaza after months of treatment at our hospital in Amman, Jordan.
Their stories reveal the difficult reality facing patients who have survived severe injuries and received specialised care abroad, only to return to a devastated health system.
The woman who went into labor and gave birth in the rubble after the Venezuelan earthquake struck has made it safely. I see no one sharing. If they were dead, everyone would share! Share positivity...
This campaign is dedicated to supporting my brother Waseem’s family.
He is a father of three young and beautiful daughters. My brother Waseem was arrested, and their home was completely destroyed. They are now in a very difficult situation and are no longer able to provide even their most basic daily needs.
Anyone who is able to help by donating or sharing the tweet can make a significant difference in easing their suffering.

Children with malnutrition in southern Afghanistan are often arriving at facilities in critical condition.
“This reflects not only worsening food insecurity, but also the breakdown of systems designed to detect and treat malnutrition at an early stage.”

Does anyone know why life saving air ambulances have to rely on funding from charities
But helicopters for the Royal Family are paid for by the tax payer?
