@aurogyu exactly!! and he wasn’t even that likable. yet Fiona (and any female character in general) is somehow a far more contentious character to people even though she has way more redeemable qualities. like oh okay…I know what you people are.

@MbekezeliMB My use of it was to indicate that she’s non-black. I definitely acknowledge the flawed approach of using a term that is not in our lexicon though.
@MbekezeliMB I don’t think we have equivalent term to people of colour in South Africa outside of non-white, which I personally don’t like using. It does not mean Coloured. Coloured is a specific racial identity. And POC is an umbrella term that multiple racial groups fall under.
