Can anyone help with some legal advice for some last remaining leaseholder resident who's getting screwed on the Robin Hood Gardens Estate. Needs an extra bedroom in the new builds but is being asked to fork out another £15k for the mortgage.
Most people are unaware that the system can focus on taking away the very fabric that underpins their community, most underestimate the value of their community, but once you realise your focused upon as a place of value, its usually too late to do anything about it.
I had a community, friends, relatives who all lived around me, helped raised my kids, cheered me up when they saw i was down, cooked me dinner, invited me in when they also had nothing. Now I'm left alone in an estate that is is only full of memories
@Andrewwood17@cockneycampaign @SaveChrispSt I've not received one survey from conservatives, so please dont say you've been surveying residents. For proof, please publish every survey questionnaire you've sent, with days and dates
The sad death of Robin Hood Gardens. Cotton St Side is now being demolished. Views from the streets in the sky would be worth hundreds of thousands alone, and that just outside our front doors.
Article repeats Swan pr guff: "providing 1,575 homes, instead of the 213 of #RobinHoodGardens"
Reality: of 1,575 homes, only 698 (45%) will be *affordables* & Swan (bonds issued in taxhaven Luxembourg) are already selling private £m flats off-plan in HongKong & UAE @LabourHousing https://t.co/5kLhvbp8g4
