@itsNehaMalhotra @smarmypenguin @elysianaquarius I don’t think the point of the original post was to say what’s “ugly” and what’s not, it’s just a reminder to fat people struggling with self image that fat =/= ugly. It’s helpful not to get stuck in a dysmorphic mindset when being a fat person in a skinny-centric world.

@smarmypenguin @elysianaquarius I think OP isn’t telling people what to perceive as ugly, more calling out a societal beauty standard. Women in film, television, books, magazines, and even more are very very skinny. Growing up with this creates the mindset OP is trying to remind fat people not to give into.
