Following the Planning Inspectorates decision, one of the only courses of action remaining to #SaveThePoint is a challenge at the High Court.
So we're very pleased to understand that @mkcouncil is looking to challenge this decision. https://t.co/OtXZ9gndRo
@bradwellcommon A legal challenge at the High Court appeared to be the only route remaining, so it's heartening to see that the Council is considering this and they will have our full support.
It's the end of an era. A lot has been tried, but ultimately the odds (and the system) were stacked against us.
There will be more to say and any last gasp avenues to follow will be pursued, but for now, it's a time to reflect and remember.

Specifically quoted in the Planning Application report is the #NewTownHeritageRegister that YOU helped to submit 200 representations towards!
"The Point itself is nominated to the New Town Heritage Register (NTHR) and is recognised as a non-designated heritage asset"
We're a bit confused here as we've definitely shared this before but it's seemingly missing from our feeds. So if you hadn't seen it already, you have now! Courtesy of #HiddenFestivalMK and in aid of @willenhospice - what's not to love?!

Don't forget! If you need to escape the heat today, #ThePointMK is open to all visitors from 1-4pm, for #BackToTheCity exhibition, a nostalgic look back at the nightlife of Central Milton Keynes.
We are sadly unaware of who the photographer is, but it couldn't have been taken any later than 1991. It features on the cover of Milton Keynes: Image and Reality by Terence Bendixon - if anyone has a copy please let us know!
It's that time again. #LocalElections are three weeks away and we are going to #MakeItATalkingPoint!
Just as we did last year, we're approaching every candidate in the upcoming local elections and asking them if they believe #ThePointMK should be saved, updating as we go.
200 submissions were made to the #NewTownHeritageRegister and we need to keep the pressure on, let every party, every councillor and every candidate know just how important this cultural landmark is to their voters - the people they represent.
Plans this week? How about popping along to #ThePointMK to see the proposed "regeneration plans?"
Most importantly they want our feedback - let's give it to them.
So head over to The Point on either:
Thursday 9th Feb, 3pm till 8pm, or
Saturday 11th Feb, 10am till 2pm
