The village nearly fell into decline last century, but restoration efforts helped preserve the character people love today.

Lower Slaughter is one of the Cotswolds' most picturesque villages, with honey-coloured stone cottages, the gentle River Eye, a historic water mill and a church dating back to the 13th century. It's the kind of place that feels untouched by time.

GREAT YARMOUTH'S ICONIC IRON DUKE IS FINALLY COMING BACK 🍻

The Iron Duke has sat empty since 2007, but after a £2.4 million restoration it's finally getting ready to reopen.

The old Art Deco pub has been carefully brought back to life, and when it opens it'll have a new bar, restaurant and even holiday apartments upstairs.

Really can't wait to see the lights back on in this place.
