We believe in saving @wave105radio a much loved Radio station with a decent varied music and presenters and saying enough is enough to those at the top!
@RobinBlamires@stevepowerdj I did listen to the podcast and found it very interesting! However still believe Wave105 could and should have been saved and their conduct towards listeners leave a lot to be desired!
Good evening hope everyone’s weekend and Monday’s gone ok! Update on @wave105radio the first complaint that admittedly was sent in a rush in a hurry has been turned down by @Ofcom to no surprise. A second complaint that was sent properly with specifics has yet to be responded to
Evening everyone! We’re still waiting for a response from @bauermedia to our formal complaint and issues raised with their speak out service and @Ofcom report when have some news we’ll share #savewave105@wave105radio
Somebody at #Wave105 still has access to the rebranded X account and isn’t happy - check out the reply from the same rebranded account to their own post 😂😂😂 @savewave105
Good Morning on the day after what was one of the darkest days in the radio industry We’re taking time to consider our next move but just want to wish everyone a very Happy Easter. Thank you to our supporters and thank you to everyone who was at @wave105radio
@wave105radio that was a beautiful tribute but I can honestly say I feel a bit bereft now. I don't think @bauermedia understand just how much Wave was embedded in local life and will be deeply missed by many. @savewave105
Had bets at home on the last song to be played on @wave105radio - my money was on Leny Kravitz - It ain’t over till it’s over. How right I was - the very first song ever played on the station ❤️@savewave105
So sad to see @wave105radio come to an end. A juggernaut of a success with market-leading audience figures and proves that proper local radio still works when done well. They've always been the go-to local station in the Latto house. Best of luck @AndyJShier@stevepowerdj & all.
Some radio stations make a real connection with their area. They have a share and foster sense of community or place- Like Boom, Pirate And Wave. I'm really going to miss Wave in a way that I've not really missed a radio station before. And I'm not alone.
Goodbye @wave105radio just turned you off for the very last time ☹️ thank you for all the years of great music, brilliant presenters, travel team & news team #wave105#southcoast 📻🔊🌊👋🏻
@savewave105 There is so little real choice on the dial now. Broadcast radio is already in a fragile position with on-demand streaming media to compete with. The unique draw it had was local presenters. It seems odd Bauer and Global would be so keen to destroy their business for short term £
