Resident Evil Veronica new details!

- Confirmed to be a third-person only game
- Developed by the same team as RE2 and RE4 Remakes
- Capcom views Veronica as just as important as the numbered titles
- Game is called "Veronica" and not "Code Veronica" to align with the one word subtitle of their recent games
- Stars Claire, Chris and Albert Wesker
- Mashup of RE2 game mechanics
- Takes place 3 months after RE2 so Claire isn't a government agent or anything yet
- Taking what they have learnt from previous RE games including RE Requiem
- Want to respect the original, but also deliver a fresh experience

@vwcroft i'm an old fan and always be an old head, but i do get why people kinda hate CV (both visually / gameplay or story), especially until CVX came along. It has such a cool concept, but gameplay legit feels more dated than re3/re2. And too many roadblocks for casual players

@YamakiYamakii Was kinda shocked he had some fans / lovers I guess, I always assumed it was just shippers (which romance writing was weakest link in this game)

@YamakiYamakii I hated him even when I was young and knew jack shit about voice acting (had a pirated dub on the disk). The whole crush thing felt so forced to me.

I dislike him less as an adult, but at the same time he's nothing special, remake has a big chance to improve his writing.

@REmaxX02 and I do feel like some people know it more, but regarding original game, it's the same to me as when peole act "but Rebecca wasn't the same in re1remake as in re0". Like, yeah, people knew, probably one of the first things I read about re0 in magazine I recall
