I never met Regis but grew up laughing with him each morning as he shared stories of what he did the night before. I looked up to him. He felt like a friend and he genuinely made my mornings better. He definitely was one of a kind. #RIPRegis#RememberingRegis
@camryngrimes@YRInsider Such emotion next week. Cassie’s death obvs.... BUT when Victor walks away from his dad and Nick reaches out arm and arm in support - chills and tears flood my body. #YR nailed these scenes on every level
@soapcentral I can remember what year it was when Christine was haunted by Isabella and can literally see the monitor flat line and hear that haunting music as Cassie dies but I couldn’t tell you a single story that was happening on #YR this past year.
@Gregpuna His life needs to be shaken up. Maybe Gloria returns and is caught up in something awful from their past. As Michael gets involved, it causes a rift between him and Lauren and she ends up leaving. Michael spirals to the dark side becoming desperate to get his wife back. #YR
@soapcentral@YandR_CBS Would love to see the one where Sharon first sees Cameron Kerstin disguised as a dead frozen ghost. Also the one where Sharon and Nikki go into the sewer with rats. Nicholas and Victor visiting Victor‘a father together.
@SnarkJunction You’re the brilliant one for pitching a Yolanda return. And it’s all proof how one small thing, can bring about such powerful story, especially when it’s mapped out long term with clear goals. Wow, I want to hop into the writers seat badly!
@SnarkJunction And there’s so many opportunities for more within that. Phyllis would have a huge roll and absolutely hate Yolanda. It would bring in Devon and give him something meaningful to do as he battles hating/loving/protecting his mother. An Ashley return would be warranted. #YR
@SnarkJunction And it takes Dina, now out of her fog, to step up as the matriarch, make up for all the lost years, and ultimately be the one who convinces her son to get himself the help he needs. BOOM. That’s a two year story arc right there #YR
@SnarkJunction Maybe she hit rock bottom with drugs again, but got herself out. She comes to GC looking over her shoulder. Trouble follows. Jack gets mixed up, maybe beaten badly blindly protecting her which turns him back to pills; he struggles without Neil’s support. #YR
@SnarkJunction & further on, Jack’s pill addiction now full on, spurs Yolanda to work with Traci to clear the mansion of pills & they stumble upon an old bottle of Dina’s & uncover a problem with them linking back to what’s his name. This gives an opportunity to explain her Alzheimer’s.
@SnarkJunction Yolanda would be the perfect have not to reintroduce to the canvas... and slowly bring along some people from her troubled past and some dark secrets AFTER she has won Jack’s heart. That would be some Classic #YR right there.
Another brilliantly powerful and emotionally charged classic music cue. One of the last epic scores composed for #YR before the massacre. You always knew something life changing was going on when this played. #YR
@badnecklace#YR did his into the mid 2000’s with Mac, Raul, Devon, Gloria & Kevin. They always had the have nots mixing it up with the haves & full of secrets. They started to get back to that style when Alden and Sussman returned and Tessa showed up but they weren’t given much of a chance.
@patrickferrando I heard rumours MAB had many other projects going on later in her tenure and her focus and attention to #YR just wasn’t there like it was in the beginning.
@yr_bbfan99 @MarkHToo I hate to say replace RC Cates, but he needs some major help or direction with his cues for sure. They do not jive with the unique way #YR had always been scored. They remind me of ABC soap scores.
@MarkHToo @yr_bbfan99 I think the issue is with JFP’s crony RC Cates. His composition style does not jive with classic #YR yet he continues to head up the music
department.
