@CryptoWithNick@0xDamien I'm a natural lifter lifting for 15+ years. If there is a mistake to be made in the gym I've done it already. And had the same mindset with you 7 years ago. We learn we evolve.
@CryptoWithNick@0xDamien Bro I ain't getting in a twitter argument about straps. If you can hold 200kg good. If your bicep doesn't fuckin die trying to pull that good. Or else use straps. Let the load be carried by bigger muscle groups more efficiently, back and legs.
@CryptoWithNick@0xDamien Disagree on that. Overhand / underhand grip more likely to cause muscle impalances for most people instead of working your grip. Been there done that ended looking like quasimodo. You can develop grip strength with grip strength development work. I will die on this hill.
@0xDamien Plus! Olympic lifters use a technique to make their fingers in to a strap. Hook grip but no way I'll torture myself getting comfortable with that now
@0xDamien Nah. I love em. They're a tool. I can focus better on technique, bracing, back activation etc when my grip failing or not is out of the question. You can't hold the weight your legs and back can pull. Accept it and move on π if you wanna train forearms then train forearms.
