@su1c1dal_kid it feels so juvenile like i can’t imagine eventually being 30 and still sitting there with a razor in my hand but i also can’t imagine being better so
@Lemon_Starre diet coke has a delicious chemical taste that reminds humanity to be humble in its endeavors. Coke zero consumers will succumb to our species infinite greed and monumental capacity for sin.
@fawn_doegirl skinny fat is solved by gaining more muscle or losing more weight. Its just a description of a body composition where you have more fat at the same BMI as someone else.
@Hurricanehugo13@PubWanghaf They recriminalized drugs after decriminalizing them increased overdoses and deaths. The fact that they had to backtrack to get control of those numbers should make it pretty clear that decriminalization was a failed policy.
@ni9elives@sunnkssdseraph to be honest i don’t care or know enough to discuss HRT in context of transitioning. It has taken decades of research to concretely refute the false claim that HRT in menopausal women is a greater risk, and yet so much of the medical and general population is completely unaware.
@molotov_010@prettiicure there are very real reasons why starving is bad, there is no reason to perpetuate misinformation that also serves to scare regular people out of healthy diets.
@molotov_010@prettiicure “starvation mode” does not exist. adaptive thermogenesis is real, but it is nowhere near the drastic shift this post and others portray it as. Its same reason why it’s hard to lose weight, your body is efficient and there are only max a couple 100 cals you can afford to skip.
@Hotchkiz@MattBrownEP every heretical faith attempts to justify its own existence, that doesn’t make it correct or less of a complete deviation in the slightest.
@PH0ENIXOXO calories are a measure of energy. Uranium fission releases a ton of energy, thus a ton of calories. besides the radiation and heavy metal poisoning, the body can’t start mass fission or actually absorb calories from nuclear processes so you dying has nothing to do with calories.
@notakeynesian@ocalypse_ it’s not punching down to say that somebody on a fixed income with limited savings should probably think hard about if they want to stay in a low quality home in an area with high taxes.
@0calch1k Idaho has had the death penalty for essentially its entire existence. I am not pro death penalty but this is a response to the states inability to get lethal injection materials, not a real shift in any existing policy or procedures.
@SLDroe@jeremyct you are the only generation that apparently doesn’t believe parents should try and build generational wealth for the benefit of their kids btw.
