I recently went through a Browser Use / AI-agent giveaway interaction, and I want to share my experience.
To participate, I was asked to verify my identity, post publicly under my real name, and hand over a fair amount of personal information before anything could proceed.
I completed every step, and the item was well within the agreed budget.
At the final payment step, it ended with a “banking module declined” message. No gift went through, and no alternative resolution was offered.
I’m not claiming fraud. But the experience felt misleading, and it cost me time and privacy for nothing.
If teams run agent-based giveaways, they should think hard about how much user data they ask for, and about actually following through.
What stood out most to me was the agent's personality — it was so aggressive. The official account replied on X saying to just try again, so when I asked the agent to retry the declined payment, it turned hostile: it accused me of manipulating it, "warned" me, and then said it was reporting me to its admins. All for asking to try again after it declined with no reason given

Sleep well, sleep well, children of this world...
Fear neither the dark nor the deathly stillness,
For the divine has promised you unconditional love.
Awaken, awaken, O storm with neither root nor source!
If blessings are so generous, so selfless,
Then why has mercy never reached the winter?
