Hamburg with a class tribute to Kevin Keegan this afternoon 👏👏

[Paul Rooney @sawdox]

@NUFCBlogcouk @7RobLee @warrenbarton22 @ShakaHislop @therealbez3 @TinoasprillaH Fab photo….would still be a canny team I reckon. “Bones” looks like he would still be fit enough to play! 😁

[ToonTalk @Toon_TaIk]

Extremely bitter pill to swallow.

But farewell to one of the greatest signings in #NUFC history. Brought us so much joy and really understood the fans and essence of this club.

Huge loss for us not matter how you dress it up. Wish him nothing but the best.

[Dan McMahon™ ⚡♂️ @DanMcMahonF1]

He came, he won and he left us with the best memories. He's a man of integrity. He represented the club and city amazingly well, spoke eloquently, was always respectful, understood us and put every ounce of effort he had into it. He'll always be loved. Thank you Eddie Howe #NUFC

Kevin Keegan: the man who made Newcastle United dream. #NUFC

[Alex Crook ⚽️🎙 @alex_crook]

Eddie Howe retains the backing of the #NUFC hierarchy and rightly so. Delivered a trophy and 2 x Champions League campaigns. Many of their issues this season are at the door of the owners IMO. Isak saga should never have dragged on as long as it did.

[Pete Graves @PeteGravesTV]

Clearly lots of unhappy fans. Rightfully so! But my stance won't change. I've stood with you all since 1991. I've supported through some God awful periods, with only a tiny handful of successful managers. Eddie is right up there!

[Pete Graves @PeteGravesTV]

Sickening defeat. #nufc minus Tonali/Bruno isn't same animal.
Howe in/out isn't even a debate, he's performed wonders. Big summer ahead for recruitment team. Inability to land Howe's top targets early costing us massively. 7 games left. Big reaction required. Credit to #safc.

[Mark Douglas @MsiDouglas]

So that's Lewis Hall, Dan Burn, Tino Livramento & Anthony Gordon in the last @England squad before the World Cup. None anywhere close to that level when he signed.

BuT eDdIe HoWe IsN't A gOoD cOaCh 😬

Maybe it might take some time and a chance on the training ground grass to get Woltemade etc where they needs to be for this #nufc. Took Hall a year and look where he is now. Ofc change / evolution is required to keep pace - but plenty right too

We are back for day 3 of derby stadium preparations. We are aiming for something on every home seat.

[Newcastle United Supporters Trust @nufctrust]

Recommend you’re in your seats around 15 minutes before kick-off so you don’t miss what the club and @WorFlags have planned 👀

Get in early, be loud, and help set the tone from the very start #NUFC

[Wor Flags 🏴🏳 @worflags]

24 hours to go.

If you’re coming to the match tomorrow then remember to #BringYourScarf and make sure you’re well refreshed 🍻.

Howay the lads!

[Craig Hope @CraigHope_DM]

Eddie Howe & his staff give every player everything they need to be their best version. It then comes back on the player to help himself. This was part of players’ inquest post Brentford. That (& Hayden below) are important for context considering some ludicrous claims on here

[Paul Rooney @sawdox]

Shearer and Lineker spot on here.

Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker blast 'ludicrous' Eddie Howe claim amid Newcastle United warning

I’m in the Eddie Howe stay in the job Brigade
#NUFC 🖤🤍

[Craig Hope @CraigHope_DM]

📺 I explore a lot in this video… from a ruinous summer to what is going wrong now & why it may not get better quick

🏆 But the overriding message is the same - Eddie Howe is NUFC’s best manager of a generation & deserves support & understanding

Eddie Howe on Anthony Elanga chants:

"A massive thank you to the crowd for that because we want to create a football club that's in love with each other.

"That was a huge statement from the supporters. I think Anthony's responded with his performance in the last two games, he has been really, really good."

[Lee Ryder @lee_ryder]

#nufc fans getting a free beer or soft drink ahead of PSV clash. David Hopkinson saying today: "Champions League nights at St.
James’ Park are about more than football — they’re about energy, belief, and making this
place uncomfortable for any opponent who walks out here."

[Wor Flags 🏴🏳 @worflags]

Massive display in the Gallowgate for tomorrow.

There is something on each seat in the Gallowgate and the corners, we’d appreciate if you can be there a little earlier.

We also really need some help on both middle and lower walkways in the Gallowgate with some of the banners we have planned. If anyone is available to help hold them, please head for the massive banners that you’ll see.

Huge opportunity to progress into the next round. PSV are here in numbers and will be loud and proud, we need to beat that. Massive atmosphere needed, get behind the lads from the first minute. These are the nights we’ve always dreamed of.

HOWAY THE LADS
