@DanielWhalee He is not politically adept. He doesn't need to make this statement because he's guaranteed the votes of the SE. How will Lagosians vote for a politician who is supporting a man who set out to destroy their state's infrastructure under the guise of protest.
@OpeBee There was a time the CBN was going to partner with a Singapore based company to bring the eNaira into mainstream financial transactions for the purpose of developing credit scoring system.
@Imranmuhdz The handling of cross border crimes between states and crimes involving international criminals as well as state police relationship with Interpol should be clearly spelt out.
@bosuntijani If you have given Nigeria a national emergency number in 3 years, that will be a legacy project for which you will forever be remembered. That number could save many lives by reducing response time of the police and military to kidnap events.
@LordOJ@Pressman2040 Staying awake fuelled by drugs lead to sleep deprivation. There's so much the human body can take. Nature and biology will have a day on the resolution of the standoff. It's a waiting game. They must be shocked that the quick killing of hostages didn't panic the government.
@Ol0ye I have decided to take part in the IPO. SPACEX has many businesses included such as Starlink, X and Grok. It's not just about space launchers. The IPO appears slightly overvalued at $2 trillion but that's the nature of tech business.
π₯π₯π₯ I have tried my best to stay away from the recent security issues, beyond creating awareness that we do not become unknowing promoters of terrorists.
However, when one sees the level of coordination against our nation, the tacit support for and promotion of terror materials, and even reports of individuals claiming to be crowdfunding to pay kidnappers, one is forced to get out of ignore mode and into active patriot mode.
We lovers of this nation must unite to fight for the soul of Nigeria.
This is not one political party against another, nor is it one religion against another.
This is our entire nation against the enemies of the state.
Against terrorists, their influencers, their propagandists, and their supporters.
Let me take a moment to address a few issues.
Many people ask: Does the government know where the children and teachers are?
My answer is simple: do we honestly believe our entire security architecture of the country do not know where the victims are ? I mean Nigerian Military @HQNigerianArmy , DSS @OfficialDSSNG ,Police @PoliceNG
πππ.
Please don't belittle these valiant men and women. The fact that you are not privy to their plans does not mean they are doing nothing. Some battles are fought away from the cameras so that innocent lives can be saved
The public may not know everything that is going on, but neither can everything be discussed openly without potentially jeopardizing ongoing operations.
Another question: What are the terrorists asking for?
Contrary to what many assume, multiple reports suggest that their demands go beyond money and include the release of some of their leaders currently in detention.
Should we subscribe to their blackmail and demands?
That is a question every Nigerian must answer.
Now, to the celebrities and influencers who claim they are merely creating awareness, I ask: of what benefit, and to whose benefit, is the awareness you are creating?
Let me tell you who benefits.
First, terrorists thrive on attention. Publicity is oxygen to them. Every post, every trend, every panic-filled conversation amplifies their psychological warfare and helps spread fear far beyond the immediate victims.
Second, the so-called awareness often creates the impression that the security forces are doing nothing. Yet the very nature of security operations means that much of what is being done cannot and should not be discussed publicly.
You cannot demand operational secrecy and, at the same time, demand a running commentary of ongoing rescue efforts.
As citizens, we must support the rescue of the victims, pray for their safe return, remain vigilant, and refuse to become unwilling amplifiers of terrorist propaganda.
Nigeria belongs to all of us.
Its defence cannot be left to the security agencies alone.
Every patriot has a role to play.
Dear Gov @LuckyAiyedatiwa hopefully we wont wait for a jailbreak to sign the needful for the convicted Owo 4
Dear President @officialABAT please let's deal with captured terrorists decisively, Kuje Break is still fresh in our minds, kidnapping to demand release of their captured leaders is because their leaders havent been neutralized.
A rhetorical question.....why does it appear that having a southern president do a 2nd term in our present day democracy is like passing a bull through the eye of the needle ?
Nigeria will overcome it's enemies.

@DanielWhalee@dmightyangel Some people are excitable and naive doing the PR media work of the terrorists for them by helping them to distribute emotional videos and photos. They blame the government instead of the terrorists who are the real villains holding innocent people against their will.
@LagosTalks913 When terrorists attacked the London Underground rail system in an attempt to paralyze London, the following day Londoners in defiance went back to travelling in the underground. Citizens and media did not blame government but the terrorists for being cowards.
@Pressman2040@dmightyangel Terrorists usually want early resolution so they send out emotional photos and videos of hostages. Terrorists suffer sleep deprivation and keep awake with drugs. They suffer anxiety and possible disagreement between them the longer the situation.
@Nairametrics I will rate him 7/10. He has not gone on full throttle because of 2nd term considerations. Power, security and housing are major outstanding issues.
@Pressman2040 An assessment of vulnerable villages close to forests need to be done. Each of those communities should have a small group of trained informers who will alert relevant authorities. They will be provided with hot numbers to call. It's sad this has not been done.
@bosuntijani@dmightyangel Our most pressing communication need is the National Emergency Number implementation. It would have been useful to the victims of the recent kidnapping incident in Oyo State. The kidnappers are exploiting the slow response time of our law enforcers.
