Quick thoughts on the single knockout format of the Invitational this weekend:
Pros: The audience knows exactly what is at stake for each match, and each match is important.
Cons: No momentum or flow to the event; can't really tell who's hot and who's not. #curling

@mizshellytee How come? I wasn't really going for a deep dive into the history of streaming, mostly what is going on today. CurlTV is an interesting topic. It was way ahead of its time... before the average person was used to paying for streaming services.

@GameofStonesPod I noticed them mentioning "majors" this weekend as well (I don't think I had heard it before). This tells me 2 things: 1) Despite it's name, they don't consider the Champions Cup a "major" and 2) if we could all just forget the Elite X, that would be super.
