Tobey was my goat for so long but he was carried by Sam Raimi’s vision and direction encapsulating Spider-Man so well, Andrew was many peoples goats for portraying the friendly neighborhood aspect of Spider-Man to a tea, but with this movie Tom has SNATCHED THEIR CHAINS

#SpidermanBrandNewDay goes without question that Sadie Sink is easily the newest and greatest star of the MCU. Her character easily has the most thought provoking character work ever put in a Marvel Studios flick well...ever. Can't wait to see what they do next with her.

Spiderman: Brand New Day NON-SPOILER Review!

My wife and I saw the new Spiderman movie. I'm more into the comics have seen the shows and movies, while she is not.

From my perspective, this movie was an absolute banger. This felt like the first REAL "Superhero" movie in a long time.

It wasn't getting a team together.
It wasn't discovering your powers.
It wasn't a world level threat.

This felt like a genuine superhero movie. I'm actually reminded of the Tobey and Garfield Spiderman movies in how they captured the hero working around the clock to help people, do what he needs to and the struggle of hero identity vs secret identity.

We haven't had that in almost any MCU movies because they're all well known to the public.

Also, this wasn't a kid in high school any more. This felt like a more relatable character to the fans and the actors, while still being something my 4yr old may enjoy.

The best chemistry of any 2 characters was Frank and Peter. The banter was that of an old married couple, without going into specifics. My wife said it was her favorite part and she NEVER saw any of the MCU TV shows. I have and still think it was my favorite as well.

Next, the villain story arc was very well done. I was able to call out most of the twists and turns, but it was still satisfying to see them play out. The audience seemed to figure things out in real time alongside Peter and it was a fun experience for myself.

The other secondary characters were all really well done. They all served a purpose and there were a LOT. However, it didn't feel like any of them were bad. You may forget a few people here and there and some of them got more screen time than others, but I think the writing and the directing was really good.

Overall, my wife and I loved this movie. It was funny, serious, sad and action-packed. I genuinely had fun watching it. There were even references to the other Peter's from the 3rd movie, so for any fans wondering if the spell affected Tom Holland's Spiderman from remembering Tobey and Garfield, this may be a spoiler but I think it was a good continuation that the MCU sometimes forgets to mention.

My ONLY complaint was the end credit scene. For some, this will be a "spoiler" but I don't think so. It was basically pointless and gave you nothing. So, if you would like to read below if you would like to continue. If not, comment down below if you're planning on watching it and if you do, what was your favorite part?

For the end credit scene, there's almost nothing that happens. They have a little space indicator that simply says that Spiderman will return. My guess is maybe the Sword space base comes into play that's been mentioned over the last few years.

They don't specify a movie and they do not say Peter Parker. However, one thing I noticed is that they do not mention any of the other characters either.

The Odyssey broke me. Wow, what a journey!!!
Interstellar is still my #1, Inception #2 but The Odyssey might just take that spot. The scale & the emotions are enormous. Highly recommend. Will go again once I recover!!!
