@linear It would be cool if you guys built the best native Mac app in existence but refused to fix deep links so the app only ever opened in safari. Consider this a feature request :)
@Dimillian an iOS widget that triggers voice remote control (and control center). Just launches right into voice mode and lets you know its connecting to the remote, and then when its done you're talking. 1 tap. Make it work with a live activity.
@OpenAI love waking to see that Sol ignored my plan mode, went off on side quests and burned through my weeks allotment of tokens creating and babysitting 7 random PRs
@ReverendPretzel@proledevil Wouldn't be surprised if its more like: the gods are coming. My 3 year old saw lightning and asked "Did Jesus do that?" Just instinctively associated lightning with a person we've only really told him lives in a place really far away and loves him
@squeakytoy I think the plan mode needs work. When was a whiteboard session ever just a markdown list of file names and instructions? As part of a plan I'd want to see stubbed out code, and interactive discussion about the plan. Instead... its just reading more
OH also lets give them an algorithmically driven App Recommending interface that no one can disable. And when screen time is disabled: just make them a little darker but keep them there so they know
The conventional advice right now is: don't open your phone in the morning. How is that working?
Imagine if you woke up and your phone just displayed a beautifully animated sunrise. Swiping on the screen made the sand move and sun to rise higher and brighter.
Your lamp to turn on. You swipe from the bottom to unlock your device and.... it greets you with good morning. There is a button that affirms "I'm awake" and then your whole room slowly fades the light on and your phone transitions to...........
A list of to-dos, an infinite scrolling interface with all your emails, a messages app that flashes alerts and begs for you to open and read new messages? How about if it grey them out and prompts you to ignore the limits?
Nope. Cause it knows you just woke up, and you have enabled downtime. So it shows you the camera feed of your kids already scrounging around the kitchen and shows a button for "new message" and "new call"
Pressing on either of them just pulls up the interface to create or initiate. It doesn't load you into a list of actions and notifications you're not afforded to take care of.
@athyuttamre Better language tutoring. An intelligent bilingual would know to stop me, when to switch back to my native language for correction, when to give examples and when to move on to give me more practice.
Apple's walled guard-en
I have to spend tokens on computer use to click through this window all the time because someone on Xcode was brave enough to ship this
