I used to think sharing the same interests was one of the most important parts of compatibility. Now I think character matters much more. How kind are you? How do you treat people you love? How do you treat strangers when there’s nothing to gain? What happens when you’re angry? How do you respond when you’re hurt? You don’t have to react exactly the same way I do.
