On this day in 1962 and 1969, the first and last photos of all four Beatles together were coincidentally taken on the same exact day - August 22nd - just seven years apart.
7 juillet 2026, Ringo Starr a 86 ans aujourd'hui.
Longue vie Sir Richard Starkey, Peace and Love !

Between Trump sharing an image depicting himself as Jesus, Vance lecturing the Pope on theology, and Hegseth offering a prayer from Pulp Fiction, it’s clear that the “Christian Nationalism” of the GOP is heavy on nationalism and remarkably light on anything resembling Jesus.
- Wouldn’t place his hand on the Bible but you looked past it.
- Claims he’s not “heaven bound” and there’s “nothing he could do” to get into Heaven and you looked past it.
- Plasters his name on anything he can like a false idol would and you looked past it.
- Places literal golden idols of himself in presidential library building concepts and you looked past it.
- Shares memes of himself dressed as Jesus healing people and still, you choose to look past it.
🤷♂️ if it were anyone else you’d be asking questions… if you’re not at this point it might be time to consider you’ve replaced God with Trump.
“They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.” — Psalms 106:36
So I just joined truth social as I had to verify if this was real before commenting.
It is.
This is a screenshot I took from Trump’s truth social account once I logged in.
Trump posted it.
Dear MAGA…
It’s Jesus or him now.
Nobody forced the choice.
He did.
I choose Christ.
You choose as you will.
There’s no longer room to debate it.
If you somehow believe this is ok,
unfollow, block, get the hell away from me… but do not dare justify it or pretend this isn’t heinous blasphemy.
I am sickened and sad and angry.
Get thee behind me Satan.
Just no.
With all due respect to the Office of the President, this post contains several claims that are factually inaccurate and theologically misguided, and as a Catholic I feel compelled to respond.
1. The Pope was not elected to please any president.
Pope Leo XIV was elected by 133 cardinals from across the world in a sacred conclave, on the fourth ballot, on May 8, 2025.
The Holy Spirit guides the conclave, not American politics.
To suggest that “if I wasn’t in the White House, Leo wouldn’t be in the Vatican” is not only historically ignorant but theologically offensive to every Catholic on earth.
2. He was not an unknown outsider.
Pope Leo XIV served as Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops under Pope Francis, one of the most powerful roles in the Vatican, responsible for selecting bishops for dioceses worldwide.
He was one of the most qualified candidates in the College of Cardinals.
3. He is deeply rooted in service, not politics.
An Augustinian missionary who worked for decades in Peru, Pope Leo XIV dedicated his life to the poor and the Gospel long before any political figure noticed him.
His name honors Leo XIII, the Pope who championed workers’ rights and the poor during the Industrial Revolution, a tradition of Catholic Social Teaching that predates any modern political party.
4. The Pope’s role is prophetic, not partisan.
When the Pope speaks on peace, nuclear weapons, immigration, or the dignity of nations, he is fulfilling the mission of Christ, not opposing any government.
His first words as Pope were “Peace be with you all,” echoing the Risen Christ (John 20:19).
A Pope who is silent on injustice would be failing his divine mandate.
5. Demanding a Pope “get in line” with a president contradicts 2,000 years of Church history.
From St. Peter before Nero, to St. Thomas More before Henry VIII, to John Paul II before Soviet communism, the Church has never existed to validate earthly power.
“We must obey God rather than men.” (Acts 5:29)
As Catholics, we pray for all leaders, including President Trump.
But we stand firmly with our Holy Father.
Habemus Papam. And he answers to God alone.
I doubt Pope Leo XIV will lose any sleep over this, before he begins his pilgrimage to Africa tomorrow. But the rest of us should. Because it is unhinged, uncharitable and unchristian. Is there no bottom to this moral squalor?
Christian friends: Let this be the last straw. This is your off-ramp. He’s mocking our faith. He thinks he is comparable to Jesus; that he caused the Pope’s selection. He thinks you don’t care; that you don’t take your faith seriously.
Prove him wrong. Dump him. Praise God.
Our local law enforcement, mayors, and community leaders all agree: The best way to restore order and safety in Minnesota is for ICE to leave our streets.
This Administration is escalating rather than de-escalating and it needs to stop.
He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.
The right wants us to believe that a teen who showed up at a Wisconsin rally with an AR-15 and shot three people is a peacekeeper who deserves to be celebrated, but an unarmed mom driving away from a Minnesota rally was a domestic terrorist who deserved to die.
