A doctor was arrested for helping 200 injured protesters.

Dr. Gholamreza Amraei, a brain and spine surgeon in Hamadan, treated and operated on around 200 injured protesters inside his own home.

For saving lives, he was arrested by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and remains detained.

Iranian doctors are being arrested and some are even threatened with execution for treating those in #IranMassacre.

The goal is fear, to deter doctors from doing what they exist to do - help people.

Mehrdad Yaghoubi-Mehr, a 28-year-old from Dorud in Lorestan Province, had just been accepted into a PhD program in chemistry this year. He possessed a beautiful voice and loved to sing, cherishing travel, sports, horseback riding, and nature just as deeply as his passion for his field and studies. Tragically, on January 8th in Qods, Tehran, he was slain by a direct gunshot from the forces of the Islamic Republic regime. His grieving family, under threats and after paying a heavy sum, finally retrieved his lifeless body from Kahrizak after four agonizing days and laid him to rest in sorrow.
