Sa culture natin, may pamahiin na swerte raw kapag nakatapak ka ng tae. Ironic, diba? Something na kadiri or malas tingnan, biglang ginagawang symbol of luck. And yes, minsan totoo may blessings na nanggagaling sa unexpected or uncomfortable situations.

Pero here’s the catch masyadong na-ro-romanticize yung luck. Parang nababawasan yung recognition sa hard work behind the success. Parang mas madaling sabihin na swerte lang kaysa amining may dugo’t pawis na nilaan.

Sa first listen ko nito, akala ko gibberish words lang siya. Pero nung binasa ko na lyrics, saka siya nagclick.

May mga taong literal at figurative na naglalakad ng malayo. Mano-mano. Pagod. Grind mode. Walang shortcut.

Nag-loading lang ako saglit sa wag lang bubuka, pero ngayon gets ko na. It’s a warning: sakay ka lang, enjoy the ride but don’t overstep. Don’t claim what isn’t yours. Huwag masyadong maingay. 🙂‍↕️🤫

Ang ganda ng shift dito. After the warning, may identity reveal. Yung Battousai reference a ruthless assassin na may reversed-blade sword at nag-vow not to kill again sobrang symbolic. Baliktad ang talim as restraint. Pero don’t mistake that for weakness. Kapag kinanti? Dungka na, tabi 😬
