Sectionals come to a close due to heat and air quality 🙄 Offshore finished 3-3* with our final game getting canceled at half time as we were down 5-6.

... however, we did punch our ticket to Regionals, so we'll see everyone there!

[Offshore Ultimate @OffshoreUlti]

Finished the day 2-2! Beat Skipjack 7-5.

Now we wait for the results of the morning game! 🤔🧐

[Offshore Ultimate @OffshoreUlti]

Fun day at Sectionals with this lovely heat. 105+...

1-2 on the day so far, waiting for this heat break to face Skipjack

@OffshoreUlti Nice work!

@DBTimesOfficial @RavenBlvd @BlazinNdBlazers @ShaunAtron01 @MelechThomas So you liked the mandate? And you want more of that type of thing for everyone?

@mrmoone @bears_43 @BurakkuFlash @itsAntWright Lots of people can dunk. That doesn't make them better than the pro women. No argument from me that AR can't shoot. But, HS men are not better than WNBA players. https://t.co/uaNlY533Cg

[SB Disc Connection @sb_disc]

@DosHatGato @bears_43 @mrmoone @BurakkuFlash @itsAntWright You're simply wrong. https://t.co/uaNlY533Cg

[SB Disc Connection @sb_disc]

@bears_43 @mrmoone @BurakkuFlash @itsAntWright Absolute clown takes. First off, y'all aren't supporting local HS and middle school boys teams, and second, in no way is a women's pro game in a ticketed arena *less* entertaining than some zitty (pre)pubescent boys competing in a sweaty school gym on pull-out bleachers.

[Offshore Ultimate @OffshoreUlti]

Awesome turnout yesterday at tryout #1. Great to see so many new faces from many different neighboring communities! Can't wait to get the work going for the season!

YEAH 'SHORE! 🌊

[Jemele Hill @jemelehill]

Respectfully, there have been 32 trans athletes who have competed at the NCAA level, ever. Most have been trans men. None in women’s basketball. 1 in WNBA history.

Meanwhile, under-funding, under-resourcing, under-promoting, under-marketing, and utter disregard for women’s sports has been a persistent, decades-long problem. I wish you and others would use that same energy you have in attacking the trans community to pressure decision makers to do better in supporting women’s sports. Money, resources and commitment is what make women’s sports thrive — and the lack thereof is what will truly make women’s sports disappear.
