Hearing @DAZN_DE has renewed its @LaLiga#tvrights in Germany, Austria & Switzerland in a new cycle. New deal will run for 3 seasons, 2018-19 to 2020-21. LaLiga was the first property @PerformGroup acquired rights to in the DACH region ahead of the DAZN rollout (I think).
Berenberg predicts a BT/Sky renewal, with BT paying 18% more & Sky paying 35% more (assuming like-for-like renewal). If true this would see the overall value rise to £6.77bn over the 3 years - the rights are worth £5.136bn in the current cycle (overall increase of 31.8%). https://t.co/YjtLMElKvO
