Thank you to County Coach Terence Williams who visited the club this evening to coach some of our members. Covered a surprising amount in a short time without overwhelming archers. Club feedback very positive and looking forward to the follow up session in two weeks. Some photos-
Busy evening at the club for our final indoor session last night. Well done to everyone who passed the beginners' course and to Chris P, Steve and Reggie who received badges.
Outdoor evening shooting starts 6pm Monday.
Great weather for the Introduction to Clout session held at the club this morning. 15 archers from 4 clubs in attendance. Distance 140yards. Back to regular shooting next Sunday.
Well done to Yip who collected his Portsmouth 350 badge this evening. First badge awarded to one of our new members joining after the January beginners' course. The rest aren't far behind so watch this space for more to come soon!
The Buckinghamshire Archery Association Chairman visited the club tonight! Here he is admiring Harnek's new Portsmouth 450 and Indoor Archer 2nd Class badges.
It's the weekend! Good luck to our members competing at Spelthorne today and/or tomorrow. The club will be open as usual for the rest of us. Contact Mary to book in.
We had our annual indoor speed shoot this week!
Three arrows were shot against the clock. After each set of 6 targets had been shot the shooting time was reduced by 5s. Got down to 15 sec!
Big congratulations to Paul K on his winning performance :)
