@CTVNews Planning my next trip to the USA just to shop.
You can't imagine all the incredible organic stuff that I buy for less than the Yellow Box brands you're going to be forced to consume.
@XRPspider Try leaving a review exposing this and Amazon will silence your account and not allow you to review purchases.
That's what they did to me after I posted about knock offs being sold as genuine brands.
Pine forests are meant to burn regularly
Typically low grass fires that don't get hot enough to kill the trees. That is why pines evolved thick bark. Fires open the cones and don't kill the trees.
Putting out fires for 60 years creates fuel build up
Excess fuel leads to big fires that candle top the trees
Fires rage out of control
This has been known for decades, as have the solutions.
Controlled burns in the wet seasons to remove the fuel. Studies have found we could spend 1/10th what we spend fighting fires on prevention, and yield 10x the result.
Fire breaks around populated areas.
Why not clear cut 500M wide concentric rings around population zones?
And if you're going to head butt mice and exclusively fight the fires, why not stock up on water bombers?
Why spray the forests with desiccants (glyphosate)? And if you believe them that they are geo-engineering, why not make it rain?
The point of a system is what it does. This seems to be the desired outcome- otherwise they would pivot to strategies that prevent this shit.
@kpac_15 More truth is coming to Ontario.
Their main Transportation corridor is at a standstill. The financial consequences could be more destructive than the fires.
