On Thursday, Jan. 9, travelers in southern #SantaCruz County will encounter a moving lane closure on north and southbound Hwy 1 from 10 am to 1 pm, from 0.9 miles north of the Buena Vista Bridge to the Rio Del Mar Bridge in Aptos. Travelers can expect delays of up to 10 minutes.

We have postponed today’s prescribed fire near Pescadero because it’s too windy and the relative humidity is too low. The weather is out of prescription. We are considering burning tomorrow pending weather conditions. Yesterday’s prescribed fire went very well!
