Remember when they said we need state tests & report cards because otherwise teachers & principals would slack off?
Well, testing & state report cards are canceled and all I see are teachers & principals working harder than ever before.
Let’s trust our professionals.
When we hold onto anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness, we do the devil’s work for him.
But when we let God help us trade anger for kindness, resentment for compassion and bitterness for gentleness... it splits this cold world wide open with the warmth of Jesus.
Here’s the secret to building relationships:
Actually like kids
That’s it.
No fancy handshakes, no dancing and singing like a fool every morning. That stuff is for show and kids know it.
Just like kids. It’s easy. And if you don’t, find something else to do.
Some reasons why teachers succeed:
#KidsDeserveIt
1. When the door shuts, they’re ready to rock
2. They show up on time every day
3. Work hard
4. Don’t rely on talent
5. Are coachable
6. Give kids choice
7. Listen to understand
8. Empower
9. Get the word “gratitude”
