@CA_DMV The linked page does not come up at DMV website when looking for local office hours. I would not have found this page without you providing the direct link. Also it states “ may be turned away if office becomes too crowded”. Not “ we don’t accept walk ins after 3:30”

@CA_DMV When the DMV sends me a notification that I must pick up plates in person before they get reassigned I assume that is a qualifying transaction. I also assume I can visit during the office hours indicated on the notice.

@CA_DMV got my letter to pick up personalized plates at Goleta DMV. Went there and was turned away. I didn’t have an appointment (that I can’t get) and they stop accepting walk ins at 3:30. It was 3:32. No where online or in documents I received is it indicates 3:30 cutoff
