@_prestwich Raw L1 atomic tps is super useful. That capacity can be used for any coordination problem. Including consensus. The other approaches all have some tradeoffs that make it useless for some coordination problems, like consensus itself.

@ErikVoorhees I feel targeted. Decentralization is purely the cost to destroy all valid copies of the state. Kill all copies of the btc ledger, and poof, btc is gone. Solana is at the same order of difficulty as eth2, within a stones throw of eth1/btc. Cosmos makes that failure app local.
