@Shinedown Very disappointing. The only thing divisive about this event are actions like the one you are taking. You completely contradicted your statement with your action. This specifically makes you a participant in something that creates further division.

@0x300e@CadillacF1News_@vincenzolandino It's "financially" smart for both parties. Apple buys some viewership for its service, and F1 gets a large increase in revenue from the rights package. BUT, that doesn't necessarily make it a smart 'business' move. At least not for F1s stated goal of growing viewership.
@jeff_gluck@AndrewMarchand This decision is so bad, I'm starting to think NASCAR is involved.
Basket Bingo Championship, faux safety cars, and stages incoming!! π
@ThatsSoEZSports@AppleTV "F1 TV Premium will continue to be available in the U.S. but will now require an Apple TV subscription. Once a customer subscribes to Apple TV, F1 TV Premium will be included in their Apple subscription rather than as a standalone offering."
@ThatsSoEZSports@HarveyJackalope@heartofintrigue@AppleTV ESPN was "only" paying $85 million, Apple is paying $145 million to have the exclusive rights to screw U.S. F1 viewers. To be fair, they aren't the first and certainly won't be the last. But stupid decision by F1, IMHO, for a league trying to increase viewership in the U.S.
@ThatsSoEZSports@AppleTV I have F1 TV, but it doesn't matter. With this agreement, you can't have F1 TV without having an AppleTV subscription. Hence, no F1 TV.
@JennaFryer Here's what it means - No more watching F1 after this year. I'm not giving CRApple a nickle of my money and since the F1 TV app won't be available, guess I'll find a pirated method to watch or not watch at all.
@A_S12@Apple@F1@AppleTV Well, no more watching F1 after this year. I'm not giving CRApple a nickle of my money and since the F1 TV app won't be available, guess I'll find a pirated method to watch or not watch at all.
