lessons learned:
- xiaos' tx/rx pins will make your life easier
- kmk is neat! and it can do the qmk serial pin thing but it's not ideal
- 10 columns is fine!! but i still need to look into the options for combos in kmk
- i want a microdox actually

it will be using a xiao RP2040, which might be an adventure. first time not using a pro micro compatible controller.

@wavebeem i remap in QMK since i'm already coding the layout. and also i'm using the DH mod, which isn't supported out of the box on any OS afaik

i use karabiner elements to remap on mac and xmodmap on linux, both literally key by key. kinda tedious

i did the switch early last year and i have no regrets. it's a significant chunk of effort but it totally refreshed how i type

plus you already like DSA, which makes it totally easy to move letters around
