@heynavtoor If you install from the app store, you're already identified as a user. Would need to side load to not get on that list. Preferably run something like GrapheneOS and use Tor and turn off instant push. Which then for most people limits usefulness.
Very interesting repo though!
@ClimateWarrior7 Incorrect, he isn't paid a salary. 1% of his salary is $0. He gets paid in stock for meeting performance based goals. So there's that..
Nice engagement bait though. ๐๐คฃ๐
@bourscheid 1 trillion dollars divide by 8 billion people is $125/each.
The US has spent between $29 trillion to $34 trillion (inflation adjusted) to address poverty worldwide.
The consensus is economic growth is the primary driver of massive, population-wide poverty reduction, by far.
You don't do inference in space, you do training in space and inference terrestrially. Now is it cheaper to have data centers in space. If anyone can scale it so it is cheaper in space it would be Elon and Space X.
One could argue it's not only about cost, but about speed of execution as well. There's are no zoning restrictions in space. No red-tape, no bureaucracy to slow you down.
@ZacksJerryRig I answered this in a previous reply to that post.
Manufacturing GPU's or AI chips to run at much hotter temperatures reduces the size of the radiators necessary using StefanโBoltzmann's law. Essentially designing chips specifically for use in space.
@MarkDries1@VaibhavSisinty Not sure what you mean by redundant radiator, but if you mean just more radiators, that solves reliability, but not mass. Running hotter GPU's actually allows for smaller radiators, meaning less mass to ship to orbit.
@TheTyroneBrooks@VaibhavSisinty Yes, but the regulatory landscape is not favorable to data centers. By some estimates, new data center build outs could face significant regulatory hurdles, slowing data center construction to a 7-10 year schedule. No such constraints exist in space.
We, at https://t.co/aqQuoQJVW9, built an AI pipeline that writes, voices, and animates entire anime-style episodes start to finish โ no studio, no animators, fully hands-off. Here's the very first one, live now on our brand-new channel..

@saLty_TA_btc@Airaasayss In the US we do. Say for example a news headline:
large multi car accident on 187 south, 4 people injured, 3 people dead.
It may be different elsewhere.
@Airaasayss 51 people
31 live people (includes the killer)
20 dead people.
The question asks how many people are still in the room, not how many live people are still in the room.
Different viewpoints may have cultural distinctions.
@OCpatriot_ I doubt you'd get past year one or two. Most of the billionaires, that they want to pay for those services, would have to sell stock to raise the money. Selling such large amounts of stock would crash the stock price. These people are idiots.
@PeterDiamandis Absolutely! I'm 59, and way ahead of the vast majority of 25 yr olds when it comes to using AI. Most that do use AI, use it as a chat bot, and do not understand the full capabilities of the technology.
