@Feds51380518 YESSS, also the way I chose their pkmns were bcs they're perfect counters for each other (Meta being steel/psychic and Grimm being Fairy/Dark), but have good synergy with the former being an amazing offensive cannon while the latter being a great setup-er (with the Prankster abi)

@Feds51380518 I think that's what Dip would think, but in reality Stan sees a lot of similarities between him and the fish. Magikarps start off as weak but evolve into absolute hardhitters in the form of Gyarados, so in a sense his grunkle wants him to realize that being weak isn't all he is
