You know what really grinds my gears (and I know better than to let it bother me)?

When you put all this effort and work into creating all these assignments to support learning, all these hours making sure it is clear and aligns with outcomes... only to have students ignore it or use ChatGPT to answer it.

One student did all her homework (90 questions) in les than 20 minutes and got a perfect score (on her first try, mind you). Before we even covered the first chapter. YUP - their exam score mirrored their lack of effort!

Please, please, PLEASEEEEEEEE - keep doing what you're doing and continue teaching your kids accountability. I truly believe the crap we are dealing with will go away when the new students (your kids) make it to me. Why? Because YOU - the wonderful parents - see where we will end up if this sh!t show keeps going...

Idiocracy will stop being a documentary and go back to being a movie...
