DA Ekurhuleni mayoral candidate Khathutshelo Rasilingwane addressed current public concerns while outlining a five-point plan for jobs, governance, safety, and service delivery.
The Villain They Invented To Hide A Different Democracy
The West didn’t misunderstand Muammar Gaddafi, it erased him.
Because nothing terrifies empire more than proof that another way worked.
Western propaganda was so effective it colonised minds too, even some who call themselves anti-imperialist still parrot the lie, never bothering to study what he actually built.
What He Delivered, By Popular Mandate, Not Charity
* Oil reclaimed: Majority nationalisation of Libya’s oil, profits kept inside Libya, not siphoned to British Petroleum boardrooms.
* Water over weapons: The Great Man-Made River, the largest irrigation project on Earth, turning desert into farmland.
* Homes as a right: Slums replaced with planned housing, homelessness drastically reduced.
* Education free: Literacy rose from 10% to 88%.
* Healthcare free: Life expectancy jumped from 57 to 75 years.
* Women advanced by law: Wage parity, underage marriage outlawed, consent mandated, mass access to education and work.
* Africa’s richest nation: Highest Human Development Index on the continent, per-capita income over $11,000.
The Part They Hide
* Jamahiriya, “State of the Masses”. Not theatre democracy, participatory democracy.
* People’s Committees everywhere, tens of thousands involved.
* Power decentralised. Decisions debated locally.
* Projects approved by citizens.
* Leadership executed the people’s will, not the other way round.
* Democracy came to the people, instead of demanding they beg it at a ballot box once every few years.
Call that “authoritarian” if you need the lie to sleep at night.
Libya wasn’t destroyed because it failed, it was destroyed because it proved that sovereignty, redistribution, and real democracy could work, and that example had to die.
Democracy only spread because it was the best system for producing compliant trading partners.
A democracy has elections. Elections require parties. Parties require financing. Financing requires capital. Capital has interests. So by design, every democracy in the world has a built-in mechanism that ensures the people with money have disproportionate access to the people with power.
You don’t need to bribe a dictator and hope he stays in power. In a democracy, you just fund both candidates and own the outcome regardless.
This is why US spent the Cold War toppling democracies that elected the wrong people Mossadegh in Iran, Allende in Chile, Lumumba in Congo and replacing them with dictators who were more “stable.” Stable meaning: predictable to capital.
The genius of it is the aesthetics. Democracy looks like self-determination. It has flags and anthems and moving inauguration speeches. People will die for it. But the operating system underneath is remarkably friendly to concentrated wealth arguably more so than overt authoritarianism, which at least makes the power visible.
The most honest political scientists will tell you: what actually spread after 1989 was markets. Democracy was the packaging.
And the packaging worked so well that the people inside it genuinely believe they’re free which is the final, most elegant feature of the system.
A cage you can’t see is the strongest cage ever built.
here is a beautiful Iranian song that got over 255 million views on YouTube after it became viral when people around the world made reaction videos to it. The singer, Mohsen Yeganeh, was smeared and boycotted by Zionists for protesting the genocidal Israeli death-cult
Richard Feynman’s savage takedown of pseudo-science still burns in 2026:
“Social science is an example of a science which is not a science. They follow the forms… but they don’t get any laws. They haven’t found out anything.”
He goes harder:
Experts who “sit at a typewriter and make up” claims — “organic food is better,” “this diet cures everything” — as if it’s settled science, when no rigorous experiments or checks have been done.
Feynman:
“I know what it means to really know something.
How careful you have to be. How easy it is to fool yourself.
I see how they get their information… and I can’t believe that they know.”
The Nobel physicist calls it straight: most of what passes for “expert” opinion is noise dressed up as knowledge.
In an age drowning in TikTok “science,” influencers, and clickbait studies — Feynman’s 1:52 rant feels more relevant than ever.
Who’s the biggest pseudo-expert that grinds your gears right now?
Clip is timeless fire — watch it and feel the clarity.
I know it’s 12:20. But please take your time and listen to this Vincent Kompany statement about the racism incident around Vini Jr. against Benfica. Succinct, differentiated and absolutely on point. Brilliant words.
Raymond Papapavlou was paraded as yet another victim of a so-called "farm murder."
Jason Bartlett rushed to social media with the familiar script: "Another young farmer brutally tortured and murdered in South Africa. The genocide of the minority Boer people continues. The result of communism is easy to see as the President tries to cover up the farm murders…"
Here's the problem: Raymond Papapavlou was murdered by his own wife and her lover.
She is not black. Nor is she or her lover part of some communist campaign.
Yet his death was immediately hijacked - stripped of truth and context - and recycled to fuel the false narrative of a "white genocide" and racially-motivated farm attacks, by despicable liars and grifters like Jason Bartlett, Kallie Kriel, Ernst Roets, Gareth Cliff, Kakness, and Jaco Kleynhans.
The real crime is not just that lies are told, but that real human tragedies are weaponised to feed a false racist narrative.
Families lose loved ones, and instead of truth, their pain is used as fuel for fear, outrage and fundraising campaigns, which make the likes of Roets and Kriel wealthy.
And every time a case like this collapses under facts, the posts are quietly deleted.
No corrections.
No apologies.
No accountability.
They simply move on to the next body, the next post, the next lie.
Because facts don’t fundraise for their lavish lifestyles.
Facts don’t sell fear.
Lies do.
