New blog post (posted here ironically!) 🐘 “Twitter is dead. Let’s start live-tweeting conferences on Mastodon instead.”
If you’re at @fwd50conf this year either in person or virtually, I’d love to see you on Mastodon! https://t.co/N937BToJbG #fwd50#GCdigital
Great insight and thought provoking as always @sboots latest blog reflects much of today's reality within our organization though I'm hopeful change is possible #GCDigital https://t.co/0o7yHooOx0
Is it time for a revolution in federal public service delivery? Have incremental approaches failed? @sboots turns a critical eye to the realities of digital government this fall. https://t.co/qZ9kNpIo8z
How delighted am I that my first time speaking at #FWD50 in November, the speaker right before me is @sboots -- and he mentions "state capacity" in his talk description. And in Canada, this can't mean the capacity of the states because they have provinces! https://t.co/zrJVu4DGhA
@UNDPDigital@UNDP Great to see this, and @sboots excellent '“Fake COTS” and the one-day rule' blog post featured under the '4. (Perhaps) Don’t build it' section 👏
Digital is a way of working that has the potential to change the world for better when used responsibly.

I’ll always be grateful for Nick’s thoughtful and humble leadership, for bringing me into the federal public service, and for starting the journey that became CDS. All the best from here! 🙌
Nick is a long-time tech leader in the Canadian public service, most recently serving as the CIO of Public Safety Canada. Previously as an executive director in the Office of the CIO, he was responsible for the GCtools team and for the small team that became @CDS_GC.
